In other news, my CEL(check engine light) went away. This is the second time it came on and went away after 3 days. I think I better have someone look at it.

Anyone going to Rock the Bells? I am still debating. I’ll probably end up going. Someone let me borrow there Canon Ef 400mm f/2.8 USM. I am still upset they didn’t come here last year when Rage Against the Machine was playing.

Speaking of music, I was listening to some of my old Cd’s and I came across Serj Tankians solo album. I must say I was very impressed. I did not expect “Elect the Dead” to be such a good album. Well at least to me. I am a HUGE fan of Serj Tankians solo work and with his former group, “System of a Down”. Unfortunately they only lasted for about 3 years and there is no sign that they will be getting back together. I will end this post with two videos: first one is by the group, the second by Serj Tankian himself.

It was somewhat slow today, so I pulled the Canon out and took some snapshots of the workplace. Than all of a sudden got hit with 84456464365458 customers. I NEED a vacation. I DESPERATLEY NEED a vacation.

Not too much to say, I have been extremely tired. Work 10-8 for four straight days and I can almost gaurantee you all would be tired. lol

Reading earlier I noticed Vernon (http://retro-boss.blogspot.com/) said something about feeling like you were born in the wrong place. Like you were ment to be somewhere else. I thought to myself. Actually I do. I have for about 4-5 years. I feel like I’m not suppose to be in MD. Nonetheless, the United States. I’ve always felt like I belonged far from here.

Europe. Thats where I belong. Not for the fashion, not for the woman, not for anything. Just something inside me creates an urge to be there. Idk what it is but it has been more and more on my mind. Sometimes I just want to leave everything behind and fortake in my journey. I still remember till this day when I almost purchased that ticket my senior year and just left. I would have left and never looked back. Where would I be now?

A little bit of insight -

My senior year was probably the worst. I thought about leaving all year. I remember talking about it all the time. Just leaving. Going backpacking for a year. Traveling throughout Europe with my bestfriend. Meeting new people. Finding new places. Trying new things. Living day-by-day. No bills. No money issues. No work. No drama. Absolutely no worries. Just experiencing what this “so-called” beautiful world has to offer. Unfortunetly, it never happened. As you can see im still in America.

Not many people know but I am a hardcore trance/techno fan. This alone was a HUGE reason for my trip. If you dont know already, trance is the mainstream genre throughout Europe. They have the best concerts, raves, partys, clubs, etc. Dj Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, Paul Van Dyk, and many other artist have HUGE raves throughout Europe yearlong. My plan was to follow them throughout their tours.

Just imagine. Your standing there in an enormous stadium with twenty thousand screaming fans, indulging in the glamourous display of laser-like lights, while indulging in a high where noone can bring you back from where you are. Where you can roam through the universe and glide through the rings of staurn. Or touch the bottom of the most profound ocean and swim with the most extraordinary creatures. All this while never stepping foot off the ground. This my friends, beats any type of high. Any type of emotion. Any type of personal out-of-body experience. This is known as a STATE OF TRANCE.

One day. And when that day comes, I’ll be ready. Never been more ready.
